Does walking 10,000 steps a day help you lose weight?
A new study has come out which shows that even walking 10,000 steps a day does not reduce weight.
According to the British newspaper "The Independent" magazine Obesity, walking 10,000 steps actually, will not prevent weight gain or cause weight loss.
Experiments on female students.
According to the report, researchers from the Department of Exercise Science at a British university, along with experts from the Department of Dietetics and Food Sciences, conducted a study on a group of university freshmen
During the first 6 months of college, data were analyzed from 120 female students who participated in the step experiment, walking 10,000, 12,500, or 15,000 steps per day for 6 consecutive days per week.
The data included the number of steps and calories the students took and their weight.
Weight gain instead of weight loss.
